Church Street UMC has been in Selma, AL since 1835. In fact, CSUMC sits on the only piece of land that has never been bought or sold in Selma! It seems that the city planned for a protestant church to be in the downtown area and the Methodists got there first!
Over the years the church has grown and now exists as a family of faith that can meet the spiritual needs of your whole family. We have breakfast every Sunday at 8:30am, Sunday School (for all ages) at 9:15am, and Worship at 10:30am. We also have several important ministries in which you can take part.
Ministries include things like:
Communities of Transformation
Emmaus Meeting (Cluster Meetings)
United Methodist Men
United Methodist Women
Bible Studies throughout the week
You and your families have spiritual needs and CSUMC has many ways to meet those needs. We are striving to grow in our faith and we would invite you to join us on the journey, so please come visit with us! Our worship is focused on connecting to God and discerning God’s will for our lives. If you’d like to familiarize with our campus, you can click here.
